“Welcome! A little back story behind my passion for this field. I welcomed my first little girl in March 2022 and my second little girl in June 2023. In short, I can tell you first-hand how a strong support system, knowledge and pelvic floor therapy changes a pregnancy and postpartum experience. You only know what you know, but wow, did my first pregnancy and traumatic birth experience propel me into wanting to learn even more and to do better in the women’s health world. The work I put into my first postpartum journey that I then carried through into my second, made a vast difference between my birth experiences. My passion is to create an environment where you feel heard and empowered. I want you to feel supported through your entire process so you have the best chance possible at being the best version of yourself, whether you are a mother or not. There is a huge gap in our medical system in terms of women's health. I want to be part of the movement that is helping to bridge that gap and have devoted my career to doing just that.”
I grew up in central Indiana and will always be a Hoosier at heart. My formal education took place at Indiana University with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. I then went on to obtain a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mercy University in New York. I have my dry needling certifications through American Academy of Manipulative Therapy and have received certifications from MWM USA in the Mulligan Concept for Manual Therapy for the extremities and spine. I have taken extensive post-graduate coursework in pelvic floor dysfunction and pregnancy/postpartum rehabilitation through Herman and Wallace. I have also taken additional classes focused on coaching pregnant and postpartum athletes. Lastly, I have taken birth worker coursework focusing on the anatomy and mechanics behind pregnancy related body changes and the labor/delivery process. I have a passion for and experience treating all genders, but am currently specializing in working with prenatal and postpartum women. I am in postpartum land myself, so I get it! When I am not working with clients you can find me in the gym or spending time with my lovely little family, exploring our beautiful state of Colorado!
